A must see is a renovation project and already well known to many locals, LX Factory. This old abandoned industrial park was turned into a young and thriving centre for arts, food and technology.
The next stop is at the famous and addictive Pasteis de Belém. These unique pastries have been a well kept secret for over a hundred years and the poof is in the flavour. Some call it a trip to heaven.
With our palates well taken care of, next we see the Jerónimos Monastery, inspired in the Discoveries and old home to Templars, eventually the Knights of the Order of Christ’s Cross. Then the Belém tower and its forgotten little brother, the old electricity factory and back to Lisbon through Cais do Sodré.
