Home > Sintra

Sintra, the amazing natural beauty and its palaces dotting the landscape make this place the origin of many stories and mysteries.

In this famous land of wonder we start in the most western point of Europe and the border between mountains and sea, Cabo da Roca.

Then we will find small view points hidden along the way, only possible by going on a well hidden mountain road, almost made for our 4×4. Through the forest emerges the Chalet of the Countess, wife of king Fernando II who built Palácio da Pena, and its gardens, tailor made by her and an experience on its own.

Up in the Mountains you will discover the never conquered Moorish Castle, and the stunning Palácio da Pena, a work of art from our king Fernando II, and a wonder of Portugal. On the way down we find the village of Sintra, unaltered for hundreds of years, and then back to Lisbon.

Come and Xplore the views, mountains, palaces and parks of Sintra, recognized in the world travel awards and the best conservation effort in the world in 2017.
